In the traditional settlement of Pyrgi, you'll discover a world of unique beauty, with houses covered in geometric designs forming an impressive motif. Notable attractions include the Church of Agioi Apostoloi and the well-preserved defensive tower in the village.

Agios Isidoros, who lived and martyred in Chios, is celebrated throughout the entire island. The paleochristian basilica (500 AD) where the relics of Agios Isidoros and Agia Myrope are preserved has recently been renovated. It will be a point of interest for devout visitors to the island.
The Virgin Mary
The renowned Virgin Mary Agios Galousaina, known for its wood-carved iconostasis, is situated at the entrance of the village, constituting a Byzantine monument estimated to belong between the 12th and 13th centuries. The village celebrates for 9 days after the Assumption, on August 22. The name of all this comes from the stalactite drops dripping from the cave's stalactites, which, according to tradition, have healing properties.
